Former Missouri State standout Catherine Dolan takes a one-stroke lead into Friday's (July 13) final round of the Missouri Women's Amateur Golf Championship in suburban Kansas City.

Dolan followed an opening 71 on Wednesday with an even-par 72 and stands at 143 after 36 holes, one better than seven-time champion Ellen Port of St. Louis. The two are five clear of the rest of the field after two trips around the Shadow Glen Golf Club in Olathe, Kan.

A four-time all-conference performer for the Bears who just completed her eligibility in May, Dolan will be trying to make it two state titles in a row after capturing last year's championship at Bellerive Country Club in suburban St. Louis.
