With the Missouri Valley Conference regular season ending with a five-way tie in the standings for third place, Missouri State is the No. 6 seed for the 2012 State Farm MVC Tournament in St. Louis.
The Bears (16-15, 9-9) open the tournament against third-seeded Evansville (15-14, 9-9) in a rematch of Saturday's overtime loss at the Ford Center in Evansville. Game time is set for 8:30 p.m. with television coverage on FOX Sports Midwest.
The winner of the MSU-Evansville game will play in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the Creighton vs. Drake or Bradley. The Championship game will start at 1 p.m. Sunday.
