Final Stats

Ahston Glaser
On the winning drive
We had about nine-and-a-half minutes left in the game, we got in good field position. We were running the ball really well, the line was doing well and Cooper was running his (tail) off. We set ourselves up for a good play.

On the game-winning TD
It was actually a play to Cooper. They blitzed two off the edge where we were supposed to run the ball. I saw an opening gap and just took off and got into the endzone.

On leading the offense in the second half.
We took advantage of the opportunities they gave us. They did pretty much exactly what we thought they were going to do. We switched a few things up in the second half and adjusted to what they were doing and I think it worked out in our favor.

Terry Allen
On Glaser coming into the game late
Good for Ashton. He came in and was 5-for-5 and just took that thing and ran it into the endzone himself. He got us up and great things happened.

On Buford's catch in the fourth quarter
My version of it was it kinda went through his hands and he popped it up and then caught it again. But yeah, he did not catch it the first time. There is absolutely no question about that.

On the 88-yard drive TD drive
Good adjustments by Coach Christophel and the coaches. I gave a game ball to Mikael Cooper-Falls. He didn't score a TD but he ran the ball the majority of that drive. He ran it hard and got the extra yards and was just a more physical player than any anybody else on the field. Our offensive line came off the ball, and it was a very nice feeling watching them march the ball down the field watching the clock burn, knowing that we could always put Austin in there.

On scoring two safeties
I don't think (I've ever had two safeties in a game) at least not the way those happened. Here comes Howard up to make a tackle, and I'll be darned if he didn't get a safety. I know I've never had to put the hands team on after a safety.

On winning two in a row
Winning two in a row and coming home for Homecoming. That's a pretty good feeling.
