The Missouri State volleyball team (10-4, 3-0 Missouri Valley Conference) continues a four-match road trip this week with visits to Bradley at 7 p.m. Friday and 14th-ranked UNI at 7 p.m. Saturday. The UNI match will be televised live on Mediacom 22 in the Springfield area.

The Opponents
Bradley is 7-6 overall and 1-3 in the MVC through two weeks of play. The Braves hit .191 as a team compared to .182 for the opposition and average 12.00 kills, 14.08 digs, 1.56 blocks and 1.44 aces per set.
UNI is 14-1 overall, 4-0 in Valley play and ranked 14th in this week's AVCA Top 25. The Panthers have won 44 consecutive matches against MVC teams dating to a 3-0 loss to the Bears in the 2008 MVC Tournament final. The Panthers hit .243 as a team compared to .147 for opponents and have six players averaging from 1.85 to 2.62 kills per set. UNI also averages 14.85 kills, 17.04 digs, 2.51 blocks and 1.04 aces per set.

The Series
Missouri State holds a 41-8 series edge with Bradley and has won 20 of the last 21 meetings with Bradley, the loss coming in Peoria in 2008.
The all-time series with UNI is 41-19 in favor of the Panthers. UNI has won the last four meetings after the Bears won six of 13 from 2004-08.

Last Week

Missouri State won 3-0 at Wichita State on Friday before falling 3-1 at Stephen F. Austin Sunday in the final non-conference match of the regular season.
Friday, Carly Thomas had 37 assists, 15 digs and seven kills and Christine McCartney and Olivia Brand shared match-high honors with 11 kills each as the Bears earned their first sweep of WSU since 2005.
Sunday, McCartney had 18 kills but the Bears committed 31 attack errors in four sets on the way to a loss at SFA.
