SPRINGFIELD -- The annual Missouri State volleyball Maroon & White scrimmage and pizza social has been set for Friday, Aug. 19, with the festivities beginning at 6:00 p.m. inside Hammons Student Center. The pizza social will begin at that time and the intrasquad scrimmage will start at 7 p.m.

The scrimmage is free and open to the public. Cost of the pizza and a drink is $5.00 per person and fans wishing to take part in the pizza social are asked to call Jeni Jones at (417) 836-8384 or email JeniJones@missouristate.edu by Aug. 17 to make reservations.

Between sets two and three of the scrimmage, Missouri State head coach Melissa Stokes and her staff will preview the 2011 Bears and review Missouri Valley Conference and NCAA rules.
