Missouri State senior Casey Bayliss was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Bayliss was the top scorer this past weekend for the Bears, coming up big in an 8-4 decision against Sacred Heart.

The Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia native led the Bears' offensive attack registering five shots on goal with three goals. Bayliss also tallied two assists in the win over Sacred Heart last Saturday. Despite a tough loss to Saint Louis on Sunday, Bayliss continued to be a consistent force on the field coming away with three shots on goal, one goal and one assist in the match.

The Bears' are back in action this Sunday, Sept. 4 in Bloomington, Ind. against Indiana University. The match will begin at 12:00 p.m. central time.
