SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State women's basketball player Jasmine Malone has been suspended indefinitely pending the findings of an internal investigation for the possible violation of team rules and the MSU Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, head coach Nyla Milleson announced Tuesday.

A two-year co-captain for the Lady Bears, Malone averaged 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds to help MSU to a 24-11 season that culminated in a runner-up finish at the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and a second straight Women's National Invitation Tournament appearance in 2010-11.
