SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Catherine Dolan's remarkable run at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship ended Thursday (June 30) in Bandon, Ore., but not before the Missouri State standout advanced to the round of 16 with another impressive win.

After knocking off the defending tournament runner-up in the first round of match play Wednesday, Dolan rallied from 4 down Thursday morning to a post a 2 and 1 victory over Grace Na, an All-American from Pepperdine.

In the afternoon match in the round of 16 at the Bandon Dunes Resort, Dolan bowed out of the tournament in a 2 and 1 loss to Stephanie Kono, a UCLA All-American who was a member of the 2010 Curtis Cup team.

Dolan advanced to match play after shooting 80-78--158 in stroke play qualifying Monday and Tuesday. She beat Lisa McCloskey, 2 and 1, Wednesday before splitting Thursday's matches.
