Missouri State's Catherine Dolan has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after earning medalist honors last Sunday (Mar. 6) at the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz.

The junior from Ballwin, Mo., picked up her first collegiate victory after firing 73-74-71--218, two over par, on the White Wing Course at the Rio Verde Country Club.  She posted a four-shot victory over a field of 90 players to grab the Valley's weekly honor for the third time in her career.

Dolan is a two-time all-conference performer who currently is ranked first in the conference by Golfstat and sports a 75.85 scoring average.  Next up for MSU is the Jackrabbit Invitational in Primm Valley, Calif., next Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 14-15).
