The Missouri State women's golf team wrapped up the Claud Jacobs Invitational with a tie for tenth place. Kelsey Welber led the Bears with a score of 18 over par for the three rounds, earning her a tie for 21st.
Missouri State had a strong third round, with the team shooting 36 over par. Catherine Dolan turned in a stellar round of two over par on the final day. Emma Clegg also turned in a good round with a seven over. Welber (+8), Rikke Falsner (+9) and Emily Potts (+10) rounded out the scoring team for the round.
The eventual team champion was host school Texas State. Texas State's Krista Puisite tied for the individual championship with Tulsa's Kamryn Ruffin.
For the Bears, Welber led the way with her tie for 21st. Following her was Dolan (tie - 32nd), Clegg (tie - 49), Falsner (tie - 55th) and Potts (tie - 62nd).
Next up for Missouri State is the Rio Verde Intercollegiate in Rio Verde, Ariz. on Mar. 4-5. Tee time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on both days.
