The Missouri State field hockey squad (7-11-0, 3-7-0) has earned the No. 6 seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament this year and will face the No. 3 seed, Central Michigan (8-10-0, 5-5-0). The Bears' quarterfinal game will take place on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m. in Athens, Ohio.

Missouri State is seeking its first MAC Tournament title since joining the league in 2005. The Bears have faced Central Michigan twice in the quarterfinals of MAC Tournament play in 2005 and 2010. Unfortunately, Missouri State came up short both times with the 2010 match being a controversial 2-1 loss to the Chippewas.

The 2011 MAC Tournament will be held Thursday, Nov. 3 through Saturday, Nov. 5 at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Host and MAC regular season champs, Ohio, earned the tournament's No. 1 seed.

Game 6: #2 Kent State vs. Game 2 Winner, 2:30 p.m.
