Missouri State junior Hermine Greyling has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for the first time in her career.
A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Greyling earned the award after picking up her first collegiate victory Tuesday (Oct. 18) at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield. She fired 75-77-73--225 to tie for first place and lead the Bears to the team championship. She then won a three-way sudden-death playoff on the first hole.
Greyling currently ranks 11th in the MVC in scoring average with a 77.67 mark.
