A freshman on the Missouri State women's swimming and diving team, Chelsea Leaver has been named this week's Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday. Leaver's honor marks the second time this season the Bears have won Diver of the Week.

Leaver placed first on the one-meter board and second on the three-meter board in the Bears' 158-140 victory meet over Delta State Friday in Cleveland, Miss. She won the one-meter diving competition with 197.63 points and tallied 193.12 points for her second-place finish on the three-meter board.

The Bears' swimming and diving teams will host the Drury University Panthers on Saturday November 18, at Hammons Student Center Pool. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
