The clinic will feature the following presenters from Missouri State University.

 

Melissa Stokes - Head Volleyball Coach

Jeni Jones - Associate Head Volleyball Coach

Greg Brown - Assistant Volleyball Coach

The Missouri State Volleyball Team

 

The clinic includes on-court sessions with the Bears, drills, coaching material handouts,

coaches’ outing and a gift package from the clinic sponsor, Molten.

Friday, April 4, 2008

  3:00  pm         Check-in and final registration at Hammons Student Center

  3:15  pm         Opening remarks and introduction of staff

  3:30  pm         Passing:  A recipe for success

              4:30  pm         Serving:  The first opportunity to score a point

              5:30  pm         Break

  6:00  pm         Training the setter:  Court awareness, footwork, posture, hands,

                        location and tempo

  7:15 pm          Attacking:  Developing proper footwork and arm swing mechanics

  8:30 pm          Social outing with the MSU staff and fellow coaches

 

Saturday, April 5, 2008                                                

  9:00  am         Blocking:  The first line of defense

10:00  am         Training Individual Defense:  Floor Defensive Techniques

11:00  am         Libero Logistics:  Everything you need to know about using the libero 

12:00  pm         Clinic ends - (We are here for you - an opportunity to have us demonstrate

                        to meet your needs.)

 

**College credit will also be available through MSU for those who attend the clinic**
