This week's Murney student-athlete of the week is Missouri State men's basketball's Kobi Williams. He averaged 20.0 points per game in first three CUSA games - making 12-of-21 threes on the week (.571) and 20-of-23 free throws (.870). Williams was Missouri State's top scorer in helping the Bears to a 3-0 start in CUSA. He posted career-high 32 points vs. New Mexico state on Sunday, burying 7-of-9 threes, one shy of the school single-game record, including 5 threes in the first five minutes of the game.His seven triples vs. NM State tied for the fifth most in MSU history, while posting the 56th game in program history with 32 or more points (club's first since Jan. 24, 2024).
