This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Nick Rodriguez. Rodriguez hit .423 and slugged 1.154 in six games from April 7-13 and picked up his second consecutive MVC Player of the Week award on April 8. The senior extended his hitting streak to 21 games, tied for the sixth best in school history, and has an extra-base hit in his last 13 contests to help the Bears sit in first place in the MVC standings.
