This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State volleyball's Neele'ge' Sims. Sims served up eight aces in MoState's Friday victory at Murray State, the most for a Bear since 2006, the most in the MVC this season, fourth overall nationally in 2023, and tied for the highest total by a freshman this year in Division I. Saturday, the middle blocker from Owosso, Mich., matched a season high with seven blocks, helping the Bears record 19 stuffs at Belmont, the program's highest total since 2007. For the weekend, Sims tallied had nine blocks, nine aces, 10 digs and three kills in two matches.
