Max Kreikemeier, Jr., Chesterfield, Mo., Lafayette HS

Kreikemeier finished third and the Bears placed fifth in the team race Tuesday (Apr. 26) at the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship. Kreikemeier shot a final-round 75 to earn his second consecutive all-conference honor after starting the day with a three-stroke lead on the field. The junior from Chesterfield, Mo. posted 74-67-75--216, even par at the Country Club of Paducah for three rounds and ended up three shots behind medalist Anthony Delisanti of Valparaiso.
