Alex Boze provided a couple of highlight-reel moments to help Missouri State to go 3-1 this past week, including a seventh-inning go-ahead home run against Saint Louis on Tuesday. Over the four-game span, Boze slugged a staggering .917 with six RBI, two home runs, a double and two runs scored. Down to the final two outs, her heroic three-run shot proved to be the game-winner in MSU’s 5-4 come-from-behind victory against the Billikens. Boze went on to add another clutch home run in the series finale against UNI, launching a two-run, game-tying blast over the left field fence in the bottom of the fifth. She registered one of her three extra-base hits of the week earlier in Sunday’s game with an RBI-double as part of the Bears’ three-run opening frame.Â
