In his first two starts with the Bears, Da Silva averaged 21.5 points for the week. He converted 9-of-12 shots at Air Force as part of a 22-point effort in just his second MSU game (first start), and followed that effort with 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting at Pac-12 foe Oregon State on Saturday night. Da Silva was 17-for-27 (.630) from the field for the week and 3-of-5 (.600) from 3-point range. He also snagged a team-high 7 rebounds at Oregon State while dishing out a career-high 4 assists. The South Florida transfer came up just one point shy of his career high with his production at Air Force and eclipsed the 20-point milestone for just the third and fourth time in his career.
