• AVCA Honorable Mention All-American (the fourth in MSU history), first-team all-MVC and first-team AVCA all-region selection
• Hit .367 to ranked second in Missouri State and eighth in MVC history for a single season
• Enters senior year third in school and 14th in MVC history with a .309 career attack efficiency
• Ranked 32nd nationally in hitting percentage while leading the MVC
• Averaged 2.32 kills, 2.67 points, 0.61 blocks and 0.38 digs per set

• First-team all-conference selection after averaging 2.25 kills and 0.98 blocks per set on .311 hitting
• Hitting percentage ranked fifth in the MVC and 141st nationally, while 0.26 aces per set ranked seventh in the league
• Had at least 10 kills in seven matches while leading the Bears three times
• Season best of 20 kills came at Evansville (11/6), a match in which she hit .444
• Named MVC Player of the Week Oct. 5 and CVU.com Top Performer Oct. 6 after wins at Drake and Creighton, including 16 kills on .536 hitting at CU
• Season totals were 223 kills, 33 assists, 26 aces, 97 digs and 97 blocks
• Had first career double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs Oct. 10 versus Evansville
• Had six blocks in four separate matches
• Played 99 sets over the course of 27 matches

• Started 26 matches and played in 123 sets on the way to a spot on the MVC All-Freshman Team
• Averaged 1.72 kills, 0.78 digs and a team-high 0.94 blocks while hitting .252
• Total of 211 kills ranks 11th in Missouri State history among freshmen
• MVC Freshman of the Week on Oct. 20 and 27, hitting .417 with averages of 2.63 kills and 0.58 blocks over the two weeks
• Hit a stellar .322 in her final 15 matches of the season, reaching 10 kills seven times in that span and nine times overall in 2008
• Logged a season-high 15 kills and hit .464 at Southern Illinois (10/10)
• Had 12 kills and hit .611 in a win over Drake (10/24)
• Scooped a season-high nine digs in her second career match against Indiana (8/30)
• Had nine blocks against Georgetown (9/6) and eight stuffs against Indiana State (10/3) and Bradley (11/15)
• Served up 12 aces and was perfect in 28 service reception chances

Background
• Coached in high school by former Bear Kathy (Crotty) Wuller at Althoff Catholic in Belleville, Ill.
• Prep teams went 123-42 with three conference titles with Michnowicz as a four-year starter
• Was a first-team all-state selection as a junior and senior and led the Crusaders to a fourth-place state finish in 2007 and a quarterfinal appearance in 2006
