  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Jeannette Waldo joined the Missouri State staff in August 2017, as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

“During the interview process it was clear to everyone, including our student-athletes, that Jeannette was the right fit for our program,” said Stokes of her newest staff member. “She is very motivated, organized, and has excellent communication skills, which has allowed her to make a positive impact at every stop in her career. Her passion and drive to be the best at everything she does will make her an excellent role model.”

Waldo came to Missouri State after spending three seasons on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay staff as and assistant coach and recruiting coordinator before a promotion to associate head coach following the 2016 campaign. She helped turn around a Green Bay program that won five matches her first year to a 21-9 record and No. 75 RPI ranking her third year, while coaching one Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year and one AVCA All-Region selection.

Prior to Green Bay, Waldo worked as a assistant for two seasons at Belmont that included an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2012. She spent the 2011 season as a volunteer assistant at Minnesota, helping the Golden Gophers to an NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance, and was an assistant coach at Benedictine College from 2008-11.

Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Waldo was a defensive specialist for William Jewell College from 2002-05, serving as team captain during her junior and senior seasons. She graduated from WJC in 2006 with a degree in organizational communication, and earned her education certification from Avila University in 2010.
