2017-18 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in four meets… Career best 800-meter run was marked at the Frank Husker Invitational, running a 2:17.48 time.

Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Recorded a career best outdoor 800-metter run at the Simpson College meet with a 2:18.81 race… Earned a 4:54.29 1,500-meter race at the John McDonnell Invitational, marking a new career best.

2016-17 Track and Field:
Indoor: Competed in four meets … At the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20), posted a time of 2:35.51 in the 800-meter run and helped a 4x400-meter relay team to a time of 4:22.65 … Teamed up to finish the 4x400-meter relay 4:20.85 at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan. 27)… Turned in a time of 2:29.02 in the 800-meter run at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 10-11) and helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a time of 4:17.35 … At the MVC Championship (Feb. 25-26), turned in a time of 2:25.58 in the 800-meter run prelims.
 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets … Opened the outdoor season with a time of 2:20.79 in the 800-meter run at the Bulldog Relays (March 17-18) and helped a 4x400-meter relay team to a time of 4:11.03 ... Also competed in the 4x800-meter relay (9:36.42) … Turned in a time of 2:20.50 in the 800-meter run at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (March 25) … Posted a time of 4:56.72 in the 1,500-meter run at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 14-15) … Finished the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.82 at the John Jacobs Invitational (April 21-22) … Finished 10^th in the 800-meter run at the Jayhawk Classic (April 28) with a time of 2:26.61… Turned in a time of 2:21.55 in the 800-meter run prelims at the MVC Championship (May 12-14).
 
Background: Joins the Bears after competing one season at Northern Illinois, helping the DMR obtain all-conference recognition during the indoor season... Was a four-year letterwinner at Moberly High... Broke the 800-meter school record her sophomore season... Was a three-time conference champion, two-time district and sectional champion in the 800-meter run.

Personal: Kayla Marie Fallis is the daughter of Jonathan and Heather Fallis and was born on Oct. 21 in Des Moines, Iowa... Has one sister, Jordan... Father Jonathan was a member of the Coe College swim team for a season... Studies Exercise and Movement Science at Missouri State.
