Indoor: Competed in three meets... Ran a season-high time of 1:09.17 in the 400-meter run at the UCM Classic (Feb. 19) where she finished seventh in the event… Anchored the MSU 4x400-meter relay (C) team that finished 16th at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13)… Finished 44th in the 400m at the Washburn Open (Jan. 29).

Outdoor: Competed in four meets… Set a personal record in the 400-meter run with a 1:08.27 time at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10) before going on to mark another PR in the 800-meter run with a 2:39.35 pace at the Mule Relays (Apr. 16)… Finished 19th in the 800m at the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 30-May 1) and 22nd in the 400m at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3).

Background:Â A three-year letterman with the Hernando High Tigers cross country team and a four-year letterman with the HHS Track team... Holds school records in the 5K (20.54), 800-meter run (2:38) and the 1600-meter run (5:49)... Selected as captain for each of three seasons with the track team and twice served as captain for the track team... Led the cross country team to a Desoto County title and collected an individual title her junior year with a 5K time of 20:54... Also a three-year letterman in the power lifting and in gymnastics.Â
