2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in two meets… Posted season-high times in the 60-meter dash (7.98) and 200-meter dash (26.94) at the UCM Classic (Feb. 19)… Placed third in the 200m and fifth in the 60m at the UCM meet… Finished 32nd in the 200m with a time of 27.34 at the Gorilla Classic (Feb. 12-13).
 
Outdoor: Competed in three meets… Clocked a 12.23 in the 100-meter dash and a 26.13 in the 200-meter dash for her season-best times at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3)… Ran on the MSU 4x100-meter relay (A) teams that placed first at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10) and second at the Joey Haines Invitational… Finished 25th in the 100m and 42nd in the 200m at the Rock Chalk Classic (Apr. 30-May 1).

2019-20 Track and Field
Indoor: Competed in six meets… Posted her season-best time in the 60m (7.77) at the 2020 MVC Indoor Championship… Her fastest 200-meter time of the season came at the Gorilla Classic (26.15)... She earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational, placing fourth in the 60m and eighth in the 200m… Anchored the MSU 4x400-meter relay at the Gorilla Classic.

Outdoor: Canceled

Background: Ran track & field for Veterans High School... Was a state qualifier in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay during her junior season.

Personal: Askew was born 7/28/01 in Perry, Ga... Daughter of Christopher and Ayanna Askew... Majoring in Kinesiology.
