2022 (Freshman)
Started 22 games in 27 appearances for the Bears as a true freshman…Batted .224, while ranking third on the team with five home runs and fourth with 19 RBI and 15 walks…Recorded her first career hit, a two-run home run, against Kennesaw State (March 4)…In a doubleheader against Kennesaw State and Kansas City on March 4, Vaughan went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI...Logged her second three-RBI performance of the season with a three-run homer against Valparaiso (March 26)…Drew three walks and scored a run at Evansville in the series-opening victory (April 15)…Also made nine appearances in the circle, tossing 16.1 innings and striking out 12…Owned a perfect fielding percentage, committing no errors in 88 chances…Missed the last part of the season due to injury…NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete…Named to the MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022.

High School
A two-time 6A state champion (2018, 2021), Vaughan was a four-year starter for coach Kent Early at Bentonville (Ark.) High … Earned all-state honors as a senior … Hit .352 with a .487 on-base percentage, while also striking out 129 batters and allowing just 10 earned runs during her senior season … Named to the all-state tournament team and AR All Stars team in her final season … As a sophomore, Vaughan performed at an all-conference level, hitting .384 on the year to pair with a 1.78 ERA in the circle … State runner-up in 2019 … Played in 33 games as a freshman with a .462 batting average and .903 slugging percentage en route to the state title … Named the state’s Newcomer of the Year and earned all-state honors after her remarkable freshman season.
