Competed in all six events for the Bears… Opened the season at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird Meet (Sept. 2) with a time of 15:07.7 to finish 11th... Finished 37th at the Missouri Southern Stampede after running an 18:46.87 5K… Recorded a 18:12.3 5k mark at the Chile Pepper Festival (Oct. 1) and a 22:42.8 6K time at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 14)… Earned 40th at the MVC Championship after finishing the 5K race in 19:03.5… Clocked a 22:52.6 6K time at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

2015 Cross Country
Competed in six meets for the Bears… Opened the season at the Bob Timmons Dual (Sept. 1) with a time of 20:50.5…Finished 14th at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 19) with a time of 19:10.11…Continued to improve her time at the Chile Pepper Festival (Oct. 2) clocking in 18:45.23…Ran a personal best time of 18:18.30 at the Little Rock Invitational (Oct. 17) finishing 17th…Competed at the MVC Championships (Oct. 31) finishing 56th with 19:28.77… Finished out season at the NCAA Midwest Regional (Nov. 13) running 24:10.6 in the 6K.

2014 Cross Country
Competed in four meets for the Bears ... Opened the season at the Saluki Invitational (Sept. 20), finishing 37th in 21:48.64 ... Ran a 25:24.0 to finish 82nd at Kansas' Rim Rock Classic (Oct. 4) ... Set a PR at the UALR Invitational (Oct. 18) with her 19:38.2 to earn 27th ... Placed 73rd in the MVC Championships (Nov. 1) with a 19:47.04.

2013 Cross Country
Placed 38th with a time of 13:26.00 in the 2-mile at the Hurricane Cross Country Festival in her only meet of the season.

Background
Missed the 2012 cross country season due to injury ... Was a three-time all-state selection in cross country, and a two-time all-state pick in track ... Was part of three district championship cross country squads ... Named the 2012 Aldo Sebben Southwest Missouri Runner of the Year ... As a junior, won a state title in the 800 meters and set a school record in the 1,600 meters (5:17) ... Married Josh Aleckson in July 2016 ... Older sister Emily competed in cross country and track at Missouri State from 2009-2012 ... Has two other siblings, Ethan and Ryan ... Ethan also attended Missouri State ... Lists her biggest sports thrill as winning a state title in the 800 meters ... Plans to major in communications with hopes of starting a career in public relations.
