At Missouri State: Smith looks to follow up a solid sophomore campaign at MSU in 2012.
2011 Cross Country: Posted a time of 24:10.7 and finished 187th of 296 runners at the 6K Chile Pepper Festival ... Cracked the 20-minute mark (19:42.50) and finished 107th in the blue race 5K at the 10th Annual Greater Louisville Classic.
2010 Cross Country: Competed in five of the Bears[apos] six meets....Posted a MSU career best in her first outing when she finished fourth overall at the SIUE Invitational, running in 19:11.08....Was the Bears[apos] sixth finisher at the MVC Championships, posting a 19:18.16 time....Finished fifth for the Bears at the NCAA Midwest Regional, running 23:17.08 in her first 6K.
Background: Smith joined the Missouri State team after transferring from Southwest Baptist University....Entered MSU as a sophomore in outdoor track and field and freshman eligibility in cross country and indoor trackand field....Personal best of 19:23.15 in the 5,000-meters.
