2020-21 Cross Country
Competed in all three meets… Top-3 finisher for the Bears in all three competitions… Placed fourth at the Little Rock Open (Oct. 17) with a 5k time of 18:38.1… Finished 28th at the MVC Cross Country Championship (March 3)… In her first race of the season, ran a 23:10.8 time (6k) and finished 35th at the Cowboy Jamboree (Oct. 3).

2019 Cross Country
Competed in seven meets… Finished as the Bears’ top scorer on the season, leading the team in five of the seven meets… Earned sixth at the Southern Stampede to help lead the Bears to a team title in Joplin, Mo… Posted her third straight top-20 finish at the MVC Cross Country Championship by placing 18th… Set personal bests in the 4K (14:20.2) and 5K (17:28.3) at the Mizzou Opener and Chile Pepper Festival, respectively… Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete team.

2018 Cross Country
Led the Bears in all six races… Taking fourth at the J.K. Gold Classic (Sept. 1) in a career best 4K time of 14:33.5… Earned fourth place at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 15) on a 17:38.2 5K time… Posted a 17:39.6 5K at the Chile Pepper Festival (Sept. 22)… Setting the ninth fastest 6K in school history at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 12) at 21:28.0… Running a career best and sixth fastest 5K in school history at the MVC Championship earning fifth place and All-Conference honors… Closing out the season at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a 21:32.4 time, 10^th fastest in school history.

2017 Cross Country
Competed in all six races for the Bears… Ran a 15:18.9 4K at the J.K. Gold Classic (Sept. 2) and finished in 37^th… Recorded an 18:16.61 time at the Southern Stampede where she finished in 38^th place… Marked her best 5K of the season at the Chile Pepper Festival (Sept. 30) with a 17:41.0 time… Earning a 22:10.3 6K at the Bradley Pink Classic… Earned 13th at the MVC Championship claiming Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Conference honors after running a 17:58.33 5K… Clocked a 21:21.5 6K time at the NCAA Midwest Regional and finished 63rd.

Background: Participated in cross country, track and soccer at Lafayette High... Helped guide the Lancers to conference, district, sectional and state championships her senior year... Ran the 800-meter run and 1600-meter run for the Lancers during her senior track season.

Personal: Grace Breiten was born December 18 to Thomas and Mary Breiten... Has two sisters, Cassie and Gabby... Majoring in Special Education at MSU... Aspires to teach at an inner-city school upon graduation.
