Ran in three events for the Bears… Opened the season at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird Meet (Sept. 2) with a time of 16:37.3... At the Missouri Southern Stampede after running a 19:56.5 5K… Recorded a 24:59.2 6K time at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 14).

2015 Cross Country
Competed in all six meets for the Bears…Started of her season running 22:24.00 at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic (Sept. 1)...Finished in a scoring position at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 19) in 19:40.20, good for 16th-place…Continued to improve her time after running 19:31.60 at the Chile Pepper Festival (Oct. 2)…Knocked 30 seconds off of her time for a personal best of 19.01.4 at the Little Rock invitational (Oct. 17)…Finished freshman 5-kilometer campaign at the MVC Cross Country Championship (Oct. 31), finishing 65th in 19:51.81...Finished second for the Bears at the NCAA Midwest Regional (Nov. 13) clocking in a time of 24:01.2 in the 6K.

Background: Lettered 11 times in four different sports while at Blair Oaks High School... Lettered four years in track and field while participating in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and as a member of the 4x800m relay team... Lettered three years as a member of the cross country squad... Named Individual Tr-County Conference Champion her senior year... Earned recognition of being Blair Oaks' top 5 best runners in school history her senior year.

Personal: Alyson Jones was born June 23, 1996 in Columbia, Mo.... Daughter of Jim and Kelli Jones... Mother participated in track and field and cross country at MSU, while sister currently plays softball at MSU... Plans on majoring in public relations with a minor in marketing.
