Cross Country
Raced in three meets for the Bears during the 2022 season... Raced her season’s best 5k at the Chile Pepper Festival clocking a time of 19:39.6... Finished with a time of 24:32.2 in her lone 6k of the season on Oct. 14... Made the MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the 2022 fall semester. 

2021 Cross Country
Raced in all six of the teams meet, solidifying herself as a top competitor for the Bears... Recorded a personal best 5K time of 18:30.6 at the Chile Pepper Festival... Finished 25th at the MVC Championships as Missouri State's second runner... Recorded a personal-best 6K time at the NCAA Regionals with a time of 22:18.04 on Nov. 12.

2020-21 Cross Country
Competed in one meet… Made her collegiate debut at the MVC Cross Country Championship (March 3) where she ran a 5k time of 19:39.3 and finished 39th.

High School
Competed all four years for the track and field and cross country teams at Staley High School… Earned All-State and All-Metro cross country honors three straight years… Set the school’s 5K, 2 mile, and 4x800 records during her time with the Falcons... Played four years for the Staley High lacrosse team.

Personal
Alex Hamre was born on Jan. 14, 2002, in Kansas City, Mo… Daughter of Shawn and Stacey Hamre… Has one sister, Lauren… Her dad, Shawn, played football for Missouri Western under head coach Stan McGarvey… Majoring in Nursing.
