Gilbert joins the Bears from Hoover, Ala., where she attended Spain Park High School and was a three-year starter for the Jaguars…As a freshman, she was part of a Jaguars squad that claimed Area 6 and North Regional titles before winning the Class 7A state championship, finishing 47-4 and ranked No. 15 nationally....Helped Spain Park repeat as Area 6 champions during her sophomore season...Earned recognition as the No. 1 server in Class 7A as a junior while helping the Jaguars claim area championships...Earned numerous individual honors during her junior campaign, including PrepVolleyball.com 2025 Watch List, AVCA Phenom Watch List, all-state honorable mention, all-region honorable mention, All-OTM Team, All-Metro second team and Spain Park Offensive MVP honors...Closed out her prep career with a 24-15 record as a senior and was named to the AHSVCA preseason watch list and all-county second team...Competed in club volleyball with the Birmingham Beach Volleyball Club.
