Background: A four-year high school starter, Washington was a two-time all-state performer and two-time all-conference selection…Won a state title as a senior at Legion Prep Academy (Texas)…Averaged 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as she went on to earn T-CAL all-state honors…McDonald’s All-American nominee…Spent her sophomore and junior seasons at Fayetteville High School (Ark.)…Led Fayetteville to an Elite 8 finish in the state tournament in her junior campaign… Earned all-state recognition after averaging 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as a junior…Averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and was an all-conference selection in her sophomore season at FHS…Played her freshman season at Shiloh Christian Academy, where she posted 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and received all-conference honors…Also played AAU basketball for ProSkills.
