2014-15 Season (Senior): Earned season-best runner up honors with a time of 1:40.84 in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle in 4:31.30 at the Shamrock Invitational (Jan. 30) ... Also set a lifetime best in the 1650 freestyle (16:06.66) for sixth place ... Finished third in the 200 free behind teammates Miguel Davila and Will Brand in the dual against Truman State at Hammons Student Center (Jan. 17) ... Completed a personal mark of 10:17.17 in the 1000 free a dual at Missouri (Oct. 31) ... Swam a previous season-best time in fall at Denver in the 500 free.

2013-14 Season (Junior): Competed in a variety of freestyle events for the Bears ... Swam a career-best 1:40.45 in the 200 free at the Shamrock Invitational ... Finished third in the event ... Set another career-best at the Shamrock Invitational in the 500 free (4:35.70) and finished ninth among seven teams competing ... Also a member of 800 free relay squad that turned a second place time of 6:41.47.

2012-13 Season (Sophomore): Swam season best in the 200 free (1:46.41) at Missouri dual meet...Notched a season-best time in the 500 free (4:49.76) in the Purdue Invitational prelims ... Added depth in the Bears' distance group; swam the 1000 and 1650 free on several occasions; registered MSU career bests in both events at the Northwestern Dual Invitational (Feb. 1-2); finished 12th in the mile (16:55.93) and split 10:11.80 at the 1000-yard mark.

2011-12 Season (Freshman): Was entered as an exhibition swimmer for the 2012 MAC Championships ... Dropped nearly 10 seconds off his previous best in the 500 free (4:36.13); His prelims time would have qualified him for the B-Final in 16th place ... Had the 20th-fastest 200 free time (1:41.63) on the second day of the MAC Championships ... Finished on the season's top times list in three events including the 200 free (5th), 500 free (4th) and 200 breast (5th).

Background: Joins the Bears after participating in both swimming and tennis for the Minneapolis Washburn Millers ... Coached by Ryan Hoag ...
