2017-18 Season (Senior)
All-MAC First-Team selection … Earned a silver medal in the 200 IM and picked up a bronze medal in the 200 free and 200 fly at the MAC Conference Championship … Claimed the team’s fastest time in the 200 free thanks to a 1:37.69 performance at the MAC Championships … Earned a second-place finish in the 200 fly against South Dakota (Oct. 20-21) … Earned three, top-10 finishes in the Bears Dec. 1 home meet against Evansville … Finished second in the 200 free and third in the 100 fly at Drury (Jan. 18) … Earned two top-10 finishes against Missouri (Jan. 20) … Earned two top-15 finishes at the Shamrock Invitational (Jan. 26-27) … Recorded NCAA B-Standard times in the 200 free, 200 fly and 200 IM.
2016-17 Season (Junior)
Guided the men’s 800 free relay to a gold medal at the 2017 MAC Championships, breaking the Southern Illinois pool record in the process … Earned silver medals in the 200 IM (1:46.71), 200 free (1:37.43) and 200 fly (1:46.56), setting personal records with his B-cut times … Ended the meet with a silver medal in the 400 free relay … Was named to the All-MAC First-Team … Started the season with a third-place finish in the 200 free at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (10/7), followed by a top-10 finish in the 100 fly … Reigned in his first individual win of the season against North Dakota in the 200 fly (1:54.79) on Oct. 21 … Led off the Bears’ first-place 800 free relay at the meet … Touched the wall second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free against Drury on Oct. 29 … Recorded three-top eight finishes against Iowa and Purdue (11/4) in the 100 and 200 fly, as well as the 200 IM … Placed third in the 200 IM (1:49.12) and 200 free (1:38.25) while helping the Bears win the 800 free relay at the House of Champions Invitational on Nov. 18 … Won and set the meet record with a time of 1:49.07 in the 200 fly … Claimed the 500 free and took second in the 50 free against the Evansville Purple Aces (12/2) … Also helped the Bears win the 200 free relay at the duel … Won the 200 free (1:41.70) at Southern Illinois on Dec. 3 … Earned two top-five finishes at Drury … Touched the wall third in the 200 free and fourth in the 100 free against Missouri (1/21) … Earned top-15 finishes in the 200 IM, 200 free and 200 fly at the Shamrock Invitational … Finished the season with the top time in the 200 fly.
2015-16 Season (Sophomore)
Named a second team all-conference performer for three podium appearances at 2016 MAC Championships … Took fourth in the 200 fly with a personal-best and NCAA consideration time of 1:47.11 … Finished sixth in the 200 IM (1:48.05) and 200 free (1:37.90) behind season-best times … Member MSU’s fastest 200 free and 800 free relay squads – which included setting the school record in the 800 free relay for the second straight year … Had a season-high runner-up finish in the 200 free against nationally-ranked Missouri on Jan. 23 and against Texas A&M on Jan. 7 … Had top-five showings in both the 200 IM and 200 free at the Purdue Invitational, in the 200 fly at the Kansas Double Dual … Also had a fourth place finish in the 200 free and placed fifth in the 200 fly at the Shamrock Invitational against opponents Notre Dame, Iowa and Grand Canyon … Finished season with top-five times in four events for MSU, including the fastest mark in the 200 fly.
