2017-18 Season (Senior)
Finished her final season for the Bears with a 15th-place finish in the 100 back at the 2018 MVC Championships. She went on to place 14th overall in the 100 fly and took 12th in the 200 fly at the league meet. 

2016-17 Season (Junior)
Earned the Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award along with MVC Scholar-Athlete team and MVC honor roll recognition … During the MVC Championships (Feb. 15-18), she set career bests in the 100 Back in 58.57, the 100 Fly in 56.84, and 200 Fly in 2:05.31 … Finished the 200 Fly at IUPUI House of Champions (Nov. 18-20) in fifth with a time of 2:05.43 … Finished in the top 10 of the 200 Medley at the Show-Me Showdown (Oct. 7).

2015-16 Season (Sophomore)
Earned three of her fastest times of the season during the 2016 MVC Championship … Took 14th in the 100 fly with a time of 57.81, just a tenth of a second away from her career mark … Also earned 11th overall in the 200 fly with a season-best finish of 2:06.49 in the B-final … Had a top-five finish in the Bears’ win against Drury in October … Finished 10th in the 100 fly to open season at the Show-Me Showdown … Also had top marks of season at the Purdue Invitational from Nov. 20-22.  

2014-15 Season (Freshman)
All-MVC honorable mention selection ... Made podium appearance at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with a fifth-place finish in the 200 butterfly A-finals ... Lifetime best mark of 2:05.49 helped Bears complete a 1-2-3-5 showing in the event ... Completed top time of career in 100 butterfly prelims (57.80), eventually placing third in the B-finals ... Also competed on MSU `B' 200 medley relay that finished with fifth fastest time among all teams ... Made collegiate debut at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown by getting seventh in the 100 fly ... Set three personal bests at the Louisville Invitational which included the 100 backstroke (59.00), 200 backstroke (2:06.72) and 200 IM (2:14.24).

Background
Graduated in 2014 from Rock Bridge Senior High School in Columbia ... Was a swimmer for head coach Karen Steger and also for Columbia Swim Club coached by Phil Garverick ... Flanagan led her high school team to a sectional title in 2013 and state championship in 2012 ... She was all-state in three events and an NSCA junior national qualifier ...Came to MSU as a top-10 recruit in Missouri.
