Made one appearance clocking a 1:01.31 in the 100 butterfly against Little Rock on Feb. 15.

2019-20 Season (Freshman)
Posted top-10 time in 100 fly at Kansas Double Dual (October 11-12)…Swam a leg of MSU’s third-place finish in 200 free and took fourth in 100 fly versus Missouri (October 19-20)…Placed fifth in 50 free in home finale versus Evansville (January 11).

Background
Nelson made her mark by breaking 10 Ozark High records including logging top times in the 500, 200, 100, and 50 freestyle, 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, and her portion of the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays. The Tigers won the Central Ozarks Conference Championship her freshman year, and finished runner-up as a sophomore and junior. Nelson recorded top-ten finishes in the all-state 200 and 100 freestyle, coming in seventh and eighth, respectively.
