2017-18 Season (Junior)
Helped the B 400 free relay squad to a second-place finish against Southern Illinois (Oct. 7) … Took fifth in the 50 free against South Dakota on Oct. 20-21 … Touched the wall fifth in the 100 free in the Bears’ home meet against Drury (Oct. 27) … Earned a top-25 finish in the 50 free at the Purdue Invitational (Nov. 16-18).

2016-17 Season (Sophomore)
Earned seventh in the 100 free (47.22) at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (10/7) and was part of two, second-place relays … Against North Dakota, he finished fourth in the 50 and 200 free and was a member of the golden, 400 and 800 free relays … Against Drury (10/29), he won the 100 free (46.29) and picked up a third-place finish in the 200 free, touching the wall in 1:42.17 … Finished sixth in the 200 free against Iowa and Purdue, touching the wall in 1:42.21 … Was a member of the first-place 200, 400 and 800 free relays at the House of Champions Invitational (11/18-20) … Touched the wall fourth in the 50 free (20.85) and earned sixth in the 200 free … Set three career bests at the 2017 MAC Championships, finishing the 50 free in 20.75 seconds, the 100 free in 45.31 seconds and the 200 free with a time of 1:38.74.

2015-16 Season (Freshman)
Took an individual-best seventh in the 200 free in his first appearance at the MAC Championships … Earned a trip to the A-finals in the event with the top time of his career in prelims (1:38.74) … Also touched the wall in personal-best times to finish 10th in the 50 free (20.75) and 16th in the 100 free (46.14) … Won multiple events in duals against Evansville (Oct. 9) and Truman State (Jan. 16) … Contributed to 200 free relay victory versus Summit League Champion Denver at the Kansas Double Dual … Scored points in races versus Southern Illinois (Oct. 10), Drury (Oct. 16) and Texas A&M (Jan. 7) … Also led team at Purdue in the 50 free with a 12th place finish … Finished season with top-five times in three events for MSU, including the third fastest mark in the 100 free. 

Background
Competed in both the freestyle and backstroke events at Grayslake North and for the Cats Aquatic Team ... Participated in six events at the Illinois State Championships as a senior, finishing second as a member of the 800 free relay and an individual-best third in the 100 back ... Won section titles as a junior in both the 50 free and the 100 free, while also competing at the Illinois State Championships in the 100 free ... Participated in the Speedo Champions Series, Speedo Junior National Championships and NCSA Junior National Championships ... He has made a Winter National cut in the 100 back (57.73) and a Winter Junior National cut in the 200 back (1:50.66).
