Background:
Brandy Sandlin joins the Bears after competing for the Bentonville Tigers who were undefeated three of her four years there. Sandlin was a four-time all-state and all-conference winner. Her senior year, she earned two second-place finishes at the Arkansas state competition in the 100 breast and the 100 free. She was also a member of her team's 200 medley relay who holds the Arkansas state record time of 1:50.86. Personal: Full name is Brandy Jean Sandlin. Born June 26, 1987, in Gravette, Arkansas. Daughter of Johnny and Judy Sandlin. Her sister, Jeanette, swam for Missouri State from 1998-2002.
