Roark was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Frank Huston at Ottumwa High ... named a first-team all-conference pick all four seasons while hitting better than .400 each season for the Bulldogs ... earned all-state first-team accolades as a senior and a junior and led her team to fourth- and sixth-place finishes at state, respectively ... picked up all-district team honors all four years ... led OHS to back-to-back conference titles her sophomore and freshman seasons ... batted .447 and earned all-state second team as a sophomore ... hit a team-leading .401 while picking up all-state third team accolades en route to a fourth-place finish at state her freshman campaign ... also played basketball, volleyball and ran cross country at Ottumwa High.
