Drew Crawford

Crawford joined the Bears staff as the volunteer assistant and goalkeepers coach prior to the Fall 2021 season.

Spending the previous four years at the University of Akron, he held multiple titles with the men’s program including graduate assistant, Director of Operations, and volunteer assistant coach. He was part of a staff that reached back-to-back NCAA Division I College Cups in 2017 and 2018 with a Mid-American Conference championship in 2019 and MAC tournament championships in both 2017 and 2018.

At the youth level, he has served as the Goalkeeping Director for the Internationals Soccer Club out of Cleveland, Ohio for the past 3 years and a staff coach for the Internationals boys MLS Next Academy.

A native of North Canton, Ohio, Crawford earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Akron in 2012 and completed his master’s degree in coaching at UA in 2020. He holds a US Soccer “D” License in addition to a Goalkeeper III diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
