Andrea Cattaneo was announced as a Missouri State graduate assistant men's soccer assistant coach on Jan. 16, 2026.

Andrea Cattaneo makes his way to Springfield from College Life Italia, assisting Italian student-athletes in finding athletic/academic scholarships in universities in the US, where he has been working since 2020.

Prior to his time at College Life Italia, Cattaneo completed his bachelor's degree in business administration at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milano, Italy. He then moved to Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee where he completed his MBA and was part of the men's soccer team for two seasons, from 2016-2017.

Cattaneo then stayed at Lincoln Memorial for two more seasons (2018-2019) as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team, while completing a master's in business analytics. In those two seasons the team won the SAC tournament twice and reached the Sweet 16 in 2018 as well as the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Cattaneo hails from Milano, Italy and grew up playing for the youth academies of Atalanta, Pro Patria and Como and played in Serie D which is the fourth division of professional soccer in Italy.
