Paced coach Todd Franklin's Trailblazers in scoring (13.7 ppg) and rebounding (8.8) en route to a national third-place finish while converting 49 percent of his shots and 78 percent of his free throws ... Also tallied 21 3-pointers, 28 blocks and 24 steals in 37 contests during his sophomore campaign ... Led the Trailblazers in scoring 10 times, including 29 at Shawnee (1/11/14) and 27 vs. South Carolina SA (11/9/13) ... Was also Vincennes' top rebounder 20 times with 17 boards against Shawnee and 16 vs. Des Moines (11/8/13) ... As a freshman, Gerring was part of a Vincennes squad that finished fourth at the NJCAA Division I Tournament and racked up a 33-4 record, including a 21-game win streak ... High School and helped coach Randy Farris' team to a 22-7 season while averaging 12.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game as a prep senior in 2011-12 ... Played in 29 games as a junior while averaging 6.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.8 steals at Grandview ... Biggest sports thrill was catching a bounce-pass alley-oop in a high school game for the Bulldogs.
