Made 23 appearances with a pair of starts as a redshirt freshman after finally satisfying NCAA transfer standards on 12/15/18 ... Xavier University    
After committing to Xavier University during the 2016 early signing period, Ridder left the program on Sept. 22, 2017 and returned to his hometown ... Xavier released Ridder from his NLI on Sept. 27, at which point he officially joined the MSU program.

High School    
As a senior at Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Ridder broke school records for career (1,628) and single-season (745) scoring ... Named Mr. Show-Me Basketball in 2017 as well as Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year and USA Today Missouri Player of the Year ... Averaged 24.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 2016-17, while shooting 57.5 percent from the floor for coach Dick Rippee’s Chiefs ... Helped lead Kickapoo to a 26-5 campaign as a senior and a third-place finish in the Missouri Class 5 state tournament ... Compiled a 55-8 record over his final two seasons, including 29-3 as a junior … Averaged 19.3 points and 7.2 rebounds as a junior while connecting on 72 3-pt. field goals … Was a two-time Class 5 All-State first-team selection by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association ... Played AAU Basketball on the Nike EYBL Circuit with MoKan Elite, helping lead team to a 2016 Nike Peach Jam Championship.
