Marcus Brock joined the Missouri State staff as assistant strength and conditioning coach on June 15, 2023 and works with the sports of men's basketball and men's golf.
He came to Springfield after spending the 2022-23 academic year at the University of Texas in Austin where he was as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Longhorns. He has held previous positions at Baylor and Florida Atlantic.

He played two seasons of basketball at Incarnate Word University in Texas for coach Ken Burmeister from 2013-15 before serving as a student manager the following two seasons. He played in 18 games during his playing career.

Brock is a native of San Antonio, Texas where he attended Madison High School and earned academic all-state honors under head coach Chris Romine. He is a 2016 graduate of Incarnate Word where he earned his degree in Kinesiology and holds NSCA-CSCS/CPT and CPR/ADE First Aid certification.
