Biography

At MSU: Marco Finley is another of the numerous young candidates for playing time in the Bears' wide receiver corps for 2008. Finley will look to maximize the experience he gained from his limited playing time last year, when he saw action in four games for the Bears in 2007 after redshirting in 2006, his first year at MSU.

Background: Finley was a three-sport standout at Kennett (Mo.) High, lettering in football, basketball and track. He rushed for over 1,200 yards and 15 TDs while earning all-conference honors on the gridiron. Finley has been timed at 4.31 seconds in the 40-yard dash and 11.1 in the 100. He also is the holder of two Missouri state bench press records.

Personal: Marco Dane Finley was born 7/7/87 in Kennett, Mo., the son of Ronney West and Brenda Stewart. He is majoring in criminology.
