Up and coming defensive back who made an impact this spring with a pair of scrimmage interceptions in addition to 3 tackles in the Maroon and White Game (4/26/14).

2013: Saw action in 11 contests as a redshirt freshman and produced 3 tackles ... Brought down a pair of ball carriers in homecoming win over No. 15 South Dakota State (10/19/13), including a solo stop ... Also logged a solo tackle in road win at Western Illinois (10/26/13).

2012: Redshirted his first year at Missouri State.

High School: Was a three-sport standout at Stockton (Mo.) High ... Played wide receiver, outside linebacker, strong safety and punter for Coach Kirk Welch[apos]s Tigers in 2011, earning all-state honors at receiver and all-league honors at WR and OLB ... Had 65 receptions for 1005 yards and 13 TDs as a senior, including an 11-reception game ... Also earned all-district distinction at WR and P in 2011 with all-area honors at WR ... Was part of an 8-3 playoff squad his junior season that earned a share of the Mid-Lakes Conference title ... Was also all-district, all-conference, and all-area at DB and WR in 2010 along with second-team all-state at defensive back ... Had 4 interceptions in a single game his junior year and 2 interception returns for touchdowns ... Was also a starting power forward on the basketball team and three-year track letterman.
