Lynn Mentzer joined the Missouri State staff as director of football operations in January 2018
She came to Springfield from Coastal Carolina University where she has served in a similar capacity for the Coastal football program since 2005.

Mentzer was a student office assistant when the Coastal Carolina program began in 2002 and its first season of competition in 2003. She was also a part of the program’s transition from FCS to FBS competition in 2016 after a successful run of seven Big South Conference championships, six FCS playoff appearances and 10 weeks ranked No. 1.

She was awarded the game ball for a win in 2011 after taking over the equipment manager responsibilities for the last week of the season.

The native of Kenton, Ohio earned her degree in business management from Coastal Carolina in 2005.
