Missouri State

At MSU: Chris Farrar enters 2008 as a projected cornerback regular in the deep and experienced Bears' secondary after he started all 11 games for MSU in 2007. Chris had 55 tackles and two fumble recoveries last season, and he returned one of the recoveries 50 yards for a touchdown against UNI. He had nine tackles vs. UNI and was in on eight stops each against Kansas State and Illinois State. In 2006, Farrar started four ballgames and he had seven tackles each against Western Illinois and Southern Illinois. He also returned six kickoffs for 135 yards as a sophomore. Farrar was in five games in 2005.

Background: Farrar is from St. Louis Ritenour High School, where he was a standout at running back and in the secondary. He was a state track qualifier as a sprinter, and was a basketball starter.
