High School
A four-sport standout at Logan-Rogersville High School, McDonald was a second-team all-state kicker as a senior (2023) for the Wildcats while earning all-region, all-district and All-Big 8 Conference honors as a junior and senior ... His senior year, he converted 6-of-10 field goals (long 45) and 19-of-21 extra points with 29 touchbacks on 39 kickoffs (63.6 average) ... Also averaged 40.46 yards on 33 punts with 15 downed inside the 20 ... As a junior, he made a 45-yard FG and converted 11-of-11 extra points with 14 touchbacks on 28 kickoffs ... Was also a two-time all-state soccer player who earned all-region, all-district and all-conference laurels all four years ... He wrapped his prep soccer career with 94 goals and 41 assists in 100 career games ... Was also a varsity standout in basketball and golf, placing in the top 10 at the district and conference meets his senior year. Â
